"Black & White Transcending Partiture - Live Streaming Performance"

This version of the piece is a simultanious performance between a Danish actor in Copenhagen and the artist
via livestreaming from Yogyakarta in Indonesia. The 2 performers are reading and singing the partiture as a
dialogue via Skype, and the other part is projected/screened.

An accumulation of Michael Jackson in a chaos space where time has multiplied in layers.
A mystic Deity in constant transformation, that appears when called upon or by own will.

Mystic Deity as Frantz Fanon: ”You are suffering from an inferiority complex.
Your psychic structure is in danger of disintegration. What has to be done is to
save you from this and little by little rid you of this unconscious desire. I have
to incorporate my conclusions into the context of the world.”

Michael Jackson: ”Who...?.......I think I know you!...You are inside my head”.
[surprised]

Mystic Deity as Frantz Fanon: ”Black skin, white masks. What is the mask?”

Michael Jackson: ”......You don´t understand. My colour doesn´t matter to me.
I am just me”.

Mystic Deity as Frantz Fanon: ”You are overwhelmed to such a degree by the
wish to be white, it is because you live in a society that makes your inferiority
complex possible – in a society that dervies its stability from the perpetuation
of this complex, in a society that proclaims [unconsciously] the superiority of
one race. To the identical degree to which that society creates difficulties for
you, you will find yourself thrust into a neurotic situation”.

Michael Jackson: ”I think you are insulting me now! I am no race, I am just a Man”.

Mystic Deity as Frantz Fanon: ”As a psychoanalyst, I should help you to become
conscious of your unconscious and abandon your attempts at a hallucinatory white-
ning, but also to act in the direction of a change of the social structure. In other words:
The black man should no longer be confronted by the dilemma turn white or disappear”.

Michael Jackson: ”Races and skin colours are transforming, we live in a free globalised
world, I have the means to elevate myself to my true self, and that is what I will do, I am
free. You don´t understand. I am transgressing. And they do the same by engaging in my
music and see me dance.It is a ritual of desires meeting and merging”.
